Intimate apparel trends

A delicate and innocent direction, PRECIOUS is inspired by the simplest of moments and activities as we disconnect from the speed of our super connected society. Cellulosic fibers feature with modal and cotton combined with with creora® eco soft elastane delivering a soft and delicate effect against the skin. Super soft lace with creora® Color+ dyeable elastane  deliver a treasured sensation.

A need to update and innovate the shapewear sector is delivered in Divine Lines as fashion and function continue to collude. It is the essential ingredient of the power that creora® Power Fit elastane can deliver to garments combined with the active ingredients of high performance synthetics that enhance the wearability from cool touch to moisture management in delivering 24/7 comfort.

Through REVIVE homage is paid to the industrialization of the 20th Century when the foundation of today’s developments were made. The core inspiration also appeals to the final garment design as we look to decorative details and corsetry styling. creora® Black elastane for deeper darker black enhances the dark side of this direction. The industrial aspect also contains plenty of appeal for the menswear market as well as being able to offer a steam punk approach with a rebellious spirit for the younger consumer.

As wellbeing continues to drive the increased interest in fitness, it is only natural that the active intimates market is forecast growth.

While performance fibers deliver a powerful function when teamed with creora® Power Fit elastane, as with all textile sectors qualities are becoming increasingly lighter in weight but continue to deliver the desired performance. This relatively new market is transferring technology from other successful sectors including fashion lingerie and shapewear in creating a new generation of active intimates.

Swimwear trends:

Geared towards the performance swim sector, fabrics are super light and compact in structure, in order to enhance performance. Quick dry, support and longevity from the rigors of chlorinated pools are key factors, which the inclusion of super chlorine resistant creora® highclo™ delivers. The aqua fitness market also continues to grow with interest in more core stability and shaping.

It’s time to party and have some fun as a combination of carnival combined with tropical aspects feature in this energetic and bright direction delivered in solids and more importantly prints. This trend embraces a more abstract element in delivering an exciting offering to the consumer, the focus is on intense and bright hues with  creora® Color+ - dyeable elastane

Full on glamour enters the swimwear sector, solids as opposed to prints feature here, so classic black is still key for the mainstream market, but updated through gloss and pearlized effects and new opalescent finishes. Fabric construction is very clean and compact ranging from circular knits for clever drape detail through to high power warp knits for shaping with creora® Power Fit.

A combination of kicking back and disconnecting from the furore of our 24/7 hyper connected frenzied lifestyle inspires this direction. Taking a trip down memory lane we look to the innocence and newness of the 1950s and the fabrics have a more textured aspect from grainy soft touch to cotton-touch fluidity with creora® Power Fit.  Colors are new in delivery, not dull, but not overly bright, just uplifting.
