Fully immersed in the Information Age, we cannot deny the advanced production processes and ingredients available to us. Yet we cannot appreciate the present without revisiting and respecting the past with one era in particular inspiring: the Industrial Age. While the gap between the two is vast, there are similarities, the excitement and developments that featured in changing society, they were just as big an issue then as they are now.

Through REVIVE we pay homage to the turn of the 20th Century with a twist, when industrialization got into the full swing resulting in a period of opulence through to darkness, changes that were the foundation of today’s developments. This is about blending tradition with modern technology in creating something new, something fantastical but also with an edge. The core inspiration also appeals to the final garment design as we look to decorative details and corsetry styling. The dark side of this direction and the industrial aspect also contains plenty of appeal for the menswear market as well as being able to offer a steam punk approach with a rebellious spirit for the younger consumer.
