Surface effects come to the forefront in the CAVALRY collection as a look to past innovative structures are reworked into new lightweight qualities, enhanced by the inclusion of creora® spandex/elastane. It’s time to delve into the archives and remaster those classic weaves that create surface effects. Now the focus is on being bold and breaking away from the classic simple 3/1 twill structures.

Attention to surface detail is the focus, as raised regular and irregular structures come through. This direction also pulls from a layering direction by achieving the best bases that can then be applied with different technologies in getting the complete look. Look to the history of Japanese denim, the premium elements that it has delivered in the past. From chevron structures, to traditional selvedge denim with stretch, cross hatch and jacquard effects, all bought to a new level of comfort and fit with creora® Fit2.

Hand feel ranges for a natural soft touch to waxy and dry add new tactility comes into play. A very traditional delivering on the content front, with cotton remixing string. Other cellulosics including wool and linen bring a new touch, while lyocell and modal bring an enhanced soft approach, especially when incorporating creora® eco-soft low heat settable spandex/elastane. This direction is about using today’s clean technologies in creating an unbeatable natural look.
