Textile Directions for Swimwear : Distort
Surfaces are updated through bubble, blister, prism and cloqué effects all-over and in irregular formations on plain and
printed bases for added volume. Also look to pleating effects for a more sophisticated market and cotton-touch raschel
knits. Wavy and regular raised ribs are updated. Surface manipulation can be applied on solids, prints through to yarn
dyed stripe techniques. Openwork and irregular jacquards, almost in crochet effects, are worked over lightweight
power lining bases for opacity. Dual optical prints are manipulated through seersucker effects and textural finishes for
double impact. This is very much a visual swimwear direction with creora® spandex/elastane for the perfect fit combined with fashion.
