Textile Directions for Swimwear : Liberate
Performance swimwear relies on longevity, lightness, shape and support
with quick drying as the final function when dashing from the pool. It
doesn't mean to say that fashion isn't important. Sporty swimwear gets
updated through color blocking and flat lock stitch inserts in contrasting
effects. Matte fabrics continue but look to the new cationic dyed nylon or
polyester fabrics that inject a wet look effect for contrast. Surfaces are
super smooth and while black and dark tones continue to be the mainstay
of this sector, there will be an injection of bright nautical accents to enhance
