creora® Yarn Process

creora®'s inherent strength, draftability, and uniformity make it the ideal elastane/spandex for the following yarn processes : Bare Bare The main use of bare creora® elastane/spandex yarn is in :

- Circular knitting : underwear, ready to wear, sportswear, socks.

- Warp knitting : intimate apparel, sportswear, swimwear, hosiery.
Covered creora® : creora® can also be covered or wrapped with other fibers.  1/   Single Covered Yarn - Conventional Single covered yarn creora® is wrapped by a single non-elastic filament yarn.

It is mainly used for the production of :
- Tights
- Narrow fabrics
- Woven fabrics
- Circular knitting
- Flat knitting
- Seamless
2/   Double Covered Yarn - Conventional Double covered yarn creora® is wrapped by two yarns in opposite directions (double covering).

The main uses are :
- Tights
- Narrow fabrics
- Woven fabrics
- Circular knitting
- Flat knitting
- Seamless
3/   Core Spun Yarn Core spun yarn A non elastic fibre such as cotton, wool, polyester, nylon, silk, linen... is spun around creora® spandex/elastane. The resulting yarn provides stretch with the hand of the surrounding fibre.

Typically core spun yarns are used in woven and some knit applications for ready to wear.
4/   Air Covering Yarn Air covering yarn creora® is covered by a multi-filament continuous yarn by an air jet. This creates a non-uniform cover in which the two fibers intermingle in a random manner.
This yarn is used in the following fields.
- Circular knitting
- Flat knitting
- Woven fabrics
- Men's socks
5/   Twisted Yarn Twisted yarn Conventional Covered creora® or air-mingled creora® is twisted together with another fiber.
This type of yarn is principally used in :

- Circular knitting
- Flat knitting
- Woven fabrics
